BASE ON EXPERIENCED
What mindset should a blogger have? How can you maintain your dedication in writing an article to be updated? I started blogging here on blogger.com in 2020. I have all the power, the guts, the dedication, and the mindset to continue doing it and be updated as possible as I could. But before this post, my last upload was last October 2020. After that, I stopped. What happened?
‘Not my photograph’ -Big thanks to the owner-Like what I have mentioned in my profile, I already had a website before way back in 2017. It’s WordPress, I paid for it but I also earned from it, breakeven. After that, I applied it on Adsense and after so much hard work and hard time I invested in it, they approved my website. I’m so happy, I thought, at last, I will earn from it. Days passed, months past and one year passed, I only earned one dollar from it. That’s so amazing indeed! Funny, then I learn that your website should be active for two to three years to earn it more. I told myself it’s ok I can renew it, anyway I get it from Godaddy.com for $5.99 dollars only. But suddenly when I’m about to renew it there’s a lot of add-up items that I need to pay which you cannot renew if you did not get it, it’s included in the renewal. I think it will cost me eighty to one hundred dollars $100 and more if I cannot be mistaken. One hundred dollars is Php5,000 here in the Philippines, It’s a big amount for me to spend without the guarantee that I can earn from it. To end the story short, I did not renew it.
And then since I’m very eager to earn from writing an article, I’m eager to earn working from home writing an article in my space and in my time. So I tried to search for a site that can offer a free domain but at the same time can let me earn from it. That’s why I landed here at Blogger.com. I started working on my website, from choosing the title, themes, blog format, and posting an article. After fifteen or thirteen articles, I applied it to AdSense. I got two or three rejections before my blog approved. Knowing the platform, it’s too difficult to foresee what is wrong.
After my approval, I immediately put an AdSense code on my website with the high hopes that I can achieve here in Bloggers.com what I can’t achieve in my website in WordPress. After so many months of posting an article. I really tried my best to post at least one article every week. But Even we are in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic I can’t focus to write an article. There’s a lot of financial problems happened especially in the month of October onwards. But I’m still looking for a way on how to earn money online, that's what we need badly in times of crisis. I forgot about my website, I set aside it for a while since I only earned a penny from it after months. It will not help me with my problem.
Last month March 2021, I checked my AdSense account hoping that my revenue adds a little penny or more but to my dismay, it will look the same where I left off. But why I’m here again, posting this article? It’s because I’m still hoping that someday I will succeed with what I worked for, with what I loved doing. I’m hoping that my hard work will pay off in the near future. My website now will be active for one year after May 2021. Maybe that time it will be what I wanted it to be. There’s already the “love” in what I’m doing, I’m just waiting for the success of that “love” in what I'm working on. Let us admit that most of us here, do blogging to earn so that we can have additional income, to help us out in times of financial problems, but there are others that do it just for fun or hobbies. There’s no wrong with our purpose as long as we work for it. Have focus always, have your goals so that it will trigger your dedication once you feel weak and feel it's not worth it anymore. Work Smart not hard and always think positive. All hard work should be pay off later.
“Life is too short, always choose Happiness because you deserve it!”
Thank You:-)
